I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at JD Palatine in Jul 2025
Interview
Received an email with the interview with the chief compliance officer interview was an hour and a half went real well I felt it was a good fit for both of us. They were impressed with my experience in my knowledge but after that, I heard nothing I was ghosted. Sent a follow up email a week after the interview to see if they have made a decision heard nothing so I assume they made a decision and did not have the decency or respect to let me know.
Recruiters and managers are during interview due to understand the most important commodity we have this time and you cannot get time back when you spent that time there’s no refund on it. So I feel this interview process was a waste of time because I didn’t hear back. We’re all adults. We all can take rejection. Well it’s not the first time I didn’t get a job I applied for and it won’t be the last but common courtesy would be to let the person know that you’ve hired internally or you went with somebody has a little bit more experience. I totally would understand that
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about my experience in the background industry
The interview is a relaxed experience. Almost doesn't feel like an interview, more like conversation getting to know one another. It helps bring down the tension and anxiety one can feel when looking for new opportunities.

Tell us about your previous experience in this role or skills that would qualify you to hold this position.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at JD Palatine (Wexford, PA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Typical phone interview. The person admittedly wasn't from the department I would be working in, and did not seem to know much about the duties of the position, so that left a lot to be desired and interpreted. I then had a face-to-face with her and it was essentially the same discussion.
