I applied online in their application portal and after few days received an email from the HR asking me to write in "detail" how I am planning to commute to their office atleast 2 times a week. Since I live in a city one hour away from Dresden, I explained how I will come. Additionally they also had mentioned in their jd that they provide shuttle service as well and I also proceeded to ask them which routes are covered in their shuttle service. In the end I never received any reply on the routes they take and just received a general rejection email. Seems like they care more about whether a candidate can come to their office than actual qualification of the candidate.
