I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Newark, NJ) in Jan 2009
Interview
I was a cashier at Dunkin Donut and served a branch manager once. Soon as i saw the name tag on his suit i started asking him questions about what he does at chase. There was no time to talk so he gave me his card and i followed up with a call. We had short phone conversation and he directed me to apply online and take an online quiz at the company website. i followed up after and got a call to set up an interview from a recruiter at chase later later. The interview was straight behavioral questions. got an offer about two weeks after.

Question 1
What would you do if you found out your co worker was going against any of the code of conduct?
The interviewer asks a bunch of situational questions that try to test your critical thinking skills, but it's a challenge especially if you don't have much on the job experience.

Straightforward. Calm. Very congenial. Nice people smart and honest. Would definitely consider working here given the caliber of talent. Quantitative questions werent too difficult. Just some math like addition subtraction multiplication division and quadratic equations.
