For the first time see such "much ado and nothing" process:
1. Phone interview with a very nice and polite person, reasonable questions, the only downside - it was not easy to "read" reaction - did I explain it right, should I provide more details, or maybe it's just bad me. Conclusion - "recruiter will get in touch", the recruiter is a "black hole" - never answers, application state "interview in progress" after 3 months, well I checked glassdoor and apparently it's not uncommon.
2. Several days later got a LinkedIn invitation, the different recruiter, very kind and polite, "... looks like you are good ... please apply ...", sure, applied for the different position (almost the same requirements), 3 days later application rejected without any interaction, a recruiter in the "black hole" mode.
3. I didn't expect anything after 1 and 2, but was curious, 3rd application (the different position, similar requirements). A short interview with the recruiter, a very nice and polite person, CV questions. A video interview with the team, kind and polite people, meaningful questions, as far as I can "read" - good reaction on my answers. "we will get in touch in one or two weeks". Silence. 3 weeks later checking back and for the first time getting a one-line answer "we will not move forward this time", and silence.
Well, from this point I can only speculate, apparently they don't care about my time, but they don't care about the time of their own people also (unless it's some kind of fake tryouts). I hope your experience will be better.
