I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jacobs (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
1. Applied online in mid-February
2. Received a phone call from HR asking if I was still interested in the position and an invite to an assessment day in London.
3. Assessment Day: Short presentation about Jacobs and what they do, a group discussion on factors affecting the industry, numerical test and short report writing exercise and finally a separate interview with two Jacobs employees. (Some competency Q's followed by what I knew about the company/industry and some technical Q's too)

Where does funding come from?
I applied online. I interviewed at Jacobs in Nov 2025
Interview
Video interview with recorded answers and then a one hour in person interview with 3 interviewers. Relatively friendly and informal, asked quite standard interview questions. A bonus 15 minute video interview was added to discuss CV experience. Received generic rejection email a month later. Overall a positive experience, but they didn't provide feedback for the interview when requested, even though on Gradcracker it says they've signed the feedback pledge.
Competency based questions, some technical questions on transport, working in a diverse group, health and safety, why you would like to work within transport. Finished with what would you do as an ideal project.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Jacobs (Leeds, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
There was a psychometric test first and an interview. It was initially getting to know each other kind with some technical questions in the second part. They were looking for general knowledge about the subject and some on the spot analytical thinking. Overall, I was made comfortable and it was a good interview.
