My offer was rescinded after asking about the possibility to negotiate. They did not say “this is the best we can do,” just straight up rescinded the offer. When I followed up the day of, they had already made an offer to another individual. Would not recommend negotiating if you really need/want the job. Tread carefully. Otherwise, pretty straightforward process. there was a screening call with HR, then panel interview with both the development and ops directors.
