I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Jet (Hoboken, NJ)
Interview
After submitting my resume, I went through several steps.
(1) On Campus interview with three people. (2) Math test. (3) On-site interview with three people. (4) One additional phone interview.
About one month passed after my first interview, during which I received no updates and assumed I was rejected. I was then invited for an on-site interview at their Hoboken office. After that, another three weeks passed before the HR contacted me, saying they were trying to put an offer together. I waited two more weeks since then, but decided to withdraw since I had another offer that I risked losing if I waited any longer.
I was disappointed that it didn't work out, since I really liked their culture. The challenges they were working on were pretty exciting problems too. I could envision myself doing very fulfilling work there. But the timing just didn't work for me.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Jet
Interview
After five un-responded-to emails and rescheduling three times, I had a productive call with a VP who then referred me to a talent manager. The manager then referred me to another member of the talent team who sent me a link to a 20 minute, 30 question "Math Test".
I felt the test went well but after not hearing anything back from the recruiters (after 2 follow-up emails and a week delay) I received an automated response telling me "Thanks for applying."
After 7 weeks of speaking with individuals in the company, this was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Do not recommend.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jet (Hoboken, NJ) in Feb 2017
Interview
Two phone interviews (one with HR, one with dept. head), one in-house interview (separate meetings with multiple people). Within a week had an offer and went through background check after accepting.
