Interview was quite straight forward, I was asked to prepare a presentation based on a fictional scenario. Interview with lead PM was great and very well run. I liked how they asked examples linked to JLP's values.
I was told decision making would take 2 weeks they are interview few more candidates. I waited for about 3 weeks and there was not update. I emailed talent team and they said it's still waiting hiring managers decision.
A week later I got an email from the recruiter that the position does not exist due to business changes and they are down to just one open role now which they can't offer to me. There was not context to what happened and any feedback from the interview.
I expected better from JLP's recruiters to at least call and let me know about the changes and why it happened and share some feedback. While I understand business situations changes and roles are removed midway thru hiring process you can still make an effort to deliver the message in way you leave the candidate with a good experience but I didn't anything of that from talent team.
I am still waiting for feedback from them and I am sure they will not come back to me. I would encourage them to follow some of the JLP value closely during the hiring process.
