The interview was laid back. I was told what the job was about and why it was open to external candidates. The interview was more about just having a conversation rather than asking pre-packaged HR questions. She had one prepped question which I listed below. I was fine with the process. The interviewer was the hiring manager. She stated there were three candidates and a decision would be made about a week after my interview, I was two of three. I followed up several times but never heard back from anyone. That was my biggest disappointment. Most companies at the very least send a canned rejection email. It helps with closure so you're not wondering what's going on. Also, shows respect for the candidates.
