Recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn, appreciated for the profile and asked if I am willing to learn more about this opportunity.
Recruiter was a nice person but was not fully aware about the role. Hence, he scheduled the interviews.
1st round, very normal talk about the experience and projects I am working on.
2nd round, a old person and company's director showed up to take an interview. Director mentioned that he is leaving a company next month. I checked his profile and observed that he is going to leave this company just in 1 year. Another guy was old in age and he mentioned he joined company last month. He asked really silly questions that gave me impression that their knowledge level in security is really immature.
3rd round, with random product guy who has no knowledge about security at all. He was keep on asking really really non technical questions as OKR etc. He mentioned he is not aware what they're looking for this role and why even they're hiring. he said he is not going to work with me. Entire round was so awkward like 2 people belongs to totally different role talking and have nothing common to discuss about. The round was super unnecessary.
Overall, I found many things so silly that they were not even looking for a candidate. Just a time pass interviews maybe to show management that they're hiring people and so busy in interviews. During each round I felt like I'm here for fresher interview, I just passed from the college haha. Like seriously? That's how they take an interview of a person with 8 yrs of experience?
