I applied online. I interviewed at Juniper Square (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
I received an email from a recruiter at Juniper Square close to two months after I applied for the position online. The recruiter set up a time with me to call to discuss my background and the position. We had a 45 minute call where the recruiter asked me a list of questions and then gave some time for me to ask some questions at the end. The recruiter then got back to me two days later to let me know that they'd be moving forward with other candidates. The next step would have been an Excel assessment.

The interview process is long and thorough, but everyone you talk to will be friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. They want to know their candidates well, but will treat you with respect and communicate throughout the entire process.

Interview
I applied online. Within a day or two I received an email from a Group Product Operations Manager to set up a phone screening. The phone screening happened with another Product Operations Manager who asked me questions about my experience and how it relates to the job posting. After going through my experience, she told me that if I was qualified, they would send a techinical test for me to complete via email. I got to the next round and we scheduled the test. They gave me two hours to complete an excel data cleanup test. Fairly straightforward if you are familiar with standard excel functions. After submitting the test I was notified that I was moving to the next round, a 45 minute in-person interview at the Austin office. Had a great chat with the Head of Product Operations and she let me know that they would be in touch after all going back over their notes. About two days later I received an email saying I didn't make it to the next round. They said that there was someone who was a better fit for the role. The job market is competitive and Juniper Square is definitely growing like crazy so I can understand that the talent pool has a lot of strong players!
