It started off very promising; communication with the internal recruitment team was really good and prompt. I applied to the position of Media Solutions Executive and was invited in for an interview within a week. The interview with the hiring manager lasted about 30 minutes and they advised that I may be too senior for the role; however, there was a position within the Campaigns team which could be a great fit. They said they would consider me for both positions. I said I was interested and was invited in the following week to speak to 2 more people. The interviews seemed to go really well and I was lead to believe that they were getting clearance from higher up the chain for further headcount to hire me. Then everything went silent. I tried contacting the HR recruiter who’d been really communicative a number of times, but no response. Weeks passed and i realised I’d just been essentially ghosted. Not impressed to say the least. Today i received an automated response saying I’d been unsuccessful, citing a job title I hadn’t even applied or interviewed for — months later. A shame, because the company seemed really promising.
