I was called by a hiring /technical manager for a screening and asked about the projects and background. He was very interested in my work and told me that he wants me to present the project works to other team members. In the next round, I prepared a 40 min long research presentation followed by Q&A, took a total of 1-hour session. I had informed that the next round would be a MATLAB programming round. However, I did not receive any updates for the next 2 weeks. So, I mailed twice and asked about the updates. In response to my second mail, I got a reply that they decided to go with another candidate. I found that many start-up companies have unprofessional hiring process, Because - Rescheduling of interview rounds many times (My round 1 interview call rescheduled twice - one just before the scheduled meeting time!) - No proper communication with candidates - I had to ask them after several days to know that I was not selected.

Interviews are good. The human resources staff is friendly and talkable. Manager Chris is kind, and I got a comfortable interview. It is nice to talk about some familiar and interesting topics with a leader in the group. That makes me believe my future collaboration should be good.
