      Associate Attorney Interview

      9 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Orlando, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KEL Attorneys (Orlando, FL) in Feb 2012

      Interview

Short interview. Wanted to know my experience and what areas of practice they could fit me into regardless of the position I was applying for. Asked some personal questions, probably trying to figure out if I was planning to get pregnant within the first 3 months on the job and kick back easy with a benefits package. Made a lot of senseless jokes so I laughed at them. Pretended to be impressed with the "cool" office and that bought me some brownie points. (note: they are no longer in that building anymore so they are not as "cool" anymore). I would say it was a great interview, because it's like a page out of a comedy sketch.

      Question 1

Why was I not wearing a suit to the interview? (I wore A&F jeans, button shirt, and sneakers).

      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at KEL Attorneys (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2015

      Interview

It was a little too easy. I felt like they were trying to get a sense of how desperate I was for the job. My desperation was sufficiently apparent, so I was offered and accepted the job. Wish I had it all to do over again and I would run far far away.

      Interview

Promises were made regarding expected salary via two telephonic interviews with a managing attorney, but in person interview revealed that would not be the case. Offer expressed half would be the salary and potential bonus would account for the remaining.
