I applied online. I interviewed at KPFF (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2021
Interview
There was (2) rounds of interviews, both virtual. In the first interview I met with (3) interviewers and asked generic questions such as my experience, what I was looking for, etc. The team was more than willing to speak about the culture of the company, which seemed very collaborative and supportive. Directly after, I met with (2) other people who gave a technical test with questions such, describe what cross-section AA looks like based on this plan view, how would you calculate the earthwork volume of this ditch, calculate slope given elevations and lengths, etc. Overall about (8) technical questions, but not too difficult. A week later I was scheduled for another interview and this time met with (4) more interviewers and again, it was pretty relaxed. Asked about my goals, experience, 5, 10, 20 year plan, and how much I knew about the company and structure (it's a pretty flat based organization).

I applied through university. I interviewed at KPFF
Interview
Talked to 3 separate people then took a test. Straight forward questions about my resume and goals. Seemed like strictly civil, unfortunately I don't know how to read design plans or related documents coming from the more Environmental side.
