I was asked very specific questions about politics, had to take several writing tests, and was quizzed on how I would handle hypothetical situations. There is an extensive background check, as well as an extensive driving record check. I have only ever gotten one ticket in my entire life, and I felt like a criminal on death row for having that on my record. The writing tests weren't necessarily hard, but you were under a strict time limit, so the pressure was high. There were general questions about politics, like who is the VP of the United States. But those were followed by very specific questions like Who is the current Speaker of the House of Oklahoma.
