The first interview was a 45 minute video call, it was the standard questions about your path and to talk about the company. After three weeks I got a call back to the technical interview with the tech lead for 90 minutes. I got a little disheartned since it was a position for backend, and in my first interview I mentioned that my knowledge relied more in the front-end and they also told me the technical interview would be more around algorithms. It was not, it was divided in 3 parts, where the first was just a little talk about your skills, the second part was answering a lot of technical questions all about the backend, SQL, API's, Unit testing, handle memory leaks... And the third part was 25 minutes to solve an algorithm, I wasn't able to finish in time but ended up reaching the solution by talking with the tech lead. Throughout this whole process he was great, he tried to adapt the questions to my knowledge since I had no experience in C# and gave me hints when I was stuck in a question, I ended up learning a lot and was grateful for his explanations. In the end I got a call a week later giving me feedback, and obviously I didn't get it. So overall the process I wouldn't say it's difficult, I just wished they'd be more clear for the position they're hiring specially during the first hr meeting where they even ask you which team you would feel more comfortable with, and that is not just a CS interview to evaluate your technical skills.
