I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kanjoya (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Fast process. It was professional. Great culture and exciting mission and product! The team is small, but mighty tackling big problems in the workspace. Interesting NLP and data science tech that powers their product.

Interview
2 part interview. First was a Skype interview with 2 engineers covering my resume and a coding challenge. Next was another Skype interview with the CTO convering a couple of coding challenges.
In both cases, the interviewers seemed distracted so that hindered my ability to be at my best, but other than that the people were cool and the whole process wasn't that difficult.

Question 1
Given a list of strings, e.g. 'cat', 'dog', 'bobo', 'dada', 'abad', 'cbcf', combine set of words that have have the same pattern. So, in this case you'd have: ['cat', 'dog'], ['bobo', 'dada'], and ['abad', 'cbcf']. Not much information was given beyond this and I had to probe the interviewer for more details
I did a phone screen with the hiring manager, then they said they'd get back to me in which they never did. After a week, I followed up and didn't hear anything back. I followed up again and they said that they were still going through applications and that I'd hear from them soon. It's been a little over 2 months and I still haven't heard back from them. I'm pretty sure I'm not moving forward and have moved onto other opportunities. If they said they'd be in touch shortly, they should make sure that they will.
