Interview
Applied online through KDHCD website. Reached out to recruiter to express interest. Managers reached out via phone and engaged in brief (~10-15 min) phone screening calls. Scheduled several in-person interviews (~1 hr conversation) with main manager and assistant manager (each interview included 2-3 KDHCD staff). Offers came quickly thereafter (<48 hrs). Overall excellent, straightforward, efficient, and transparent interview process.

Clinical scenarios were presented in several interviews to allow interviewers to assess applicants clinical reasoning skills. The scenarios given were very fair.
Asked different questions by director and managers. Assess how you deal with emergent situations. Why you want to work there. Do you prefers nights or days . Explain process of orientation for new nurses.
My interview was a Panel Interview with Manager and multiple staff( including charge nurse, clinical educator, bedside nurses). the offer was received a few days later after background checks was performed.

I was asked about myself and experience. They also asked about how I deal with conflict, how I prioritize patient care, what would I do if I wasn't familiar with a particular skill or procedure. It wasn't a bad experience.
