I applied online. I interviewed at Keiser University (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Apr 2011
Interview
Met with Program Director, followed by dean and Campus president. Meet with the faculty as well. Got to observe a classroom and see how the classes are organized. The initial interview was a phone conversation, then I was invited to the campus where I met with the PD, faculty, dean and campus president. I also had to do a teaching demo to show proficiency in subject matter and how I handle the class. Hands on activity is a must and must show ability to manage a class without any distractions.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Keiser University (Orlando, FL) in Jan 2016
Interview
Day 1 (Wed): Telephone contact; day 2 (Th): interview and demonstration; day 3 (Fr) hired; day 6 (Mon) Start teaching. The whole process was a last minute, rushed affair. Did not receive a copy of the textbook for the first quarter of the class and instruction on the computer system was wholly inadequate and, in fact, wrong in several key areas.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keiser University
Interview
Hiring process begins with online application. If chosen, an interview will be scheduled with the Dean of Academics. Following, you may or may not be asked to give a demonstration of your teaching abilities - often scheduled for another day. This is evaluated on basic teaching principles and structure - beginning, middle, and end. Though content is important, your delivery method is what is being evaluated.
