I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kendo (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
First, I received a screening email, then had a phone screening call with a recruiter, then a few days later, I had an interview with the hiring manager. I was then assigned a case study that was due a week later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me about my previous internship experiences, my passion for the beauty industry, and the case study focused on my Excel skills and arranging mock sales data
streamlined but slow (several weeks turnaround). recruiter was lovely, you meet with your direct manager and then their manager. there are several roles for different departments, and you can apply under one brand or all brands under kendo; make sure you know your brand/s thoroughly.
It was a fairly simple process. I had two interviews that didn't last too long. The interview was easy to follow and explained well. First one was a phone call interview that seemed to be like a typical screening. Once you make it through that, you can expect to receive an email with a follow up email to move forward to the next stage: zoom interview. Again, it wasn't too long and the interviewer was pleasant to speak with.
