Brief telephone discussion with Team Lead to schedule interview preceded a couple interviews with team lead and department managers. It was a pleasant experience. We discussed a typical day in the role and their expectations and my experience. I do interview well - I know it is a skill I have really refined. I later found that a peer I had worked with had interviewed for the same job posting and she had not made a very good impression on the management team. She came off as arrogant. Having worked with her for years I know she is a brilliant, talented and dedicated employee. It's too bad because had they seen past that she would have been one of their top performers. Just a tip that no matter how smart and talented you are - employers who perceive you as arrogant will not give you a chance.
