I received a call on my cell phone and it turned out to be someone from Kheir's HR team. I was asked on the spot if I had 15 minutes for a quick phone screen. I was taken aback because I think it's standard to receive an email first to ask about availability rather than putting someone on the spot. I proceeded with the phone screen, and the questions were more in-depth and interview-y than they said. She asked me to describe instances, share examples, etc. and even asked me why I was planning on leaving my current job...She then explained that I would receive an email for a zoom interview with the hiring managers along with a writing assessment that I have to complete. I have not heard from the hiring managers, but this process really raised some red flags for me and I will not be proceeding with the process.
