Kickfurther is a community marketplace that provides growing businesses a new way to get inventory directly from the crowd. Businesses create and post an offer based on their inventory needs. Supporters browse offers and pledge to the offer of their choice. Businesses sell the products and Supporters receive a portion of the revenue. Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kickfurther (Boulder, CO) in Feb 2016

      Interview

The interview process was quite fast. I was called on Wednesday, interviewed in person at the co-working space the following Monday and offered the next day. The speed seemed consistent with what I expected from a startup and the environment in the work space was productive and positive. My interviewer was well prepared, knowledgable and enthusiastic. My most significant suggestion for Kickfurther in the future would be to improve the offer process. I was told that I had the job and asked to start the next day without being given an actual offer or any information about compensation/benefits/etc. I had to follow up a few times and ask specific questions to get this information. After learning more I actually declined their offer, and was glad I had pressed for more information rather than waste their time and mine by showing up for my first day only to leave immediately.

      Question 1

There were several questions meant to gauge the applicant's knowledge of the company and some off the wall ones that were more directed at gauging the applicant's personality/thinking/reactions to different situations.
