I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kimberly-Clark (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2024
Interview
I don't usually write Glassdoor reviews, but was compelled to after a recent interview experience with KC.
I interviewed for a finance manager role at this company. The initial screener w/HR was fine - nothing eventful with some high level questions, but typically what is expected from an initial screener.
The 2nd interview included the hiring manager and another senior leader. Considering the hiring manager would be my "boss", you'd think the interview would be at least slightly engaging and want to excite you into wanting to work at the company. Instead, this was BY FAR the most boring, bland and scripted interview I have ever attended in my 15 years of employment. They read off a list of stale questions and didn't even bother to take the time to get to know the candidate at a personal level at all. No engagement with the answers either, just a lot of note taking.
The second interview wasn't much better - another list of generic, stale, boring questions and the interviewers hardly seemed prepared. In addition the 2nd pair of interviewers asked some of the SAME questions as the first interview and HR screener - what the heck?! It was also obvious neither of them had even bothered to spend more than 5 seconds pre-reading my resume.
With such a low effort, generic and poorly planned interview (that didn't even make an effort to get to know the candidate very well) why in the world would I bother ever entertaining to work here?
A complete waste of time.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Kimberly-Clark (Petaling Jaya) in Oct 2022
Interview
Simple and straightforward. Nothing too technical. Understanding of finance and accounting is mandatory. Hiring manager as well as talent acquisition personnel and department is warm and friendly. It was a great conversation.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kimberly-Clark
Interview
Right from day 1, the company had all the tantrums of a big name. They were not willing to accommodate my availability and always imposed interviewers availability on me. Well, since I was interested in the role I adjusted, had a very good 1st round of discussion and was shared a very positive feedback by the HR. 2nd round happened with HRBP and sales director which also went very well. But then the company played the classic card of putting me on hold and not communicating any decision whatsoever, even after multiple follow ups. The interviews also were more like a rapid fire and not meant to understand the candidate and his/her skill set. Overall a very bad experience.
