I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Tampa, FL) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was a long process, it took about an entire work day. I interviewed with people I would potentially be working with and higher ups. The environment was pretty calm, and I was able to see what a meeting would look like for the entire office.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (West Palm Beach, FL)
Interview
Straight forward, expectations were discussed and future prospects. Bringing in potential clients and discussing new networking opportunities. Some technical questions. Also shareholder opportunities and potential bonuses were discussed for career projection.
I first had a phone interview with HR/a recruiter from Kimley Horn, and after that I was brought in for an in-person interview. It was not a very difficult process. I did decline the offer.
Standard interviews with HR as well as hiring manager and respective team members. For applicants who are coming directly from school, be prepared to present on a project you worked on to demonstrate your ability in engineering/planning.
