I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KinderCare Learning Centers (Elgin, IL) in May 2015
Interview
Very chill and laid back. It was definitely informal and brief. It didn't seem like there were very high standards for new hires. I knew someone who worked there and that basically got me in right away. I would just say be prepared to answer questions about your experience with working with kids. Even if you've only babysat, mention that.
The assistant interview was very straight forward. got back to me in a reasonable time frame. Overall the interview lasted less than an hour and they gave me a tour of the building the same day.
Interview was very easy. Got a response back within days. Initial interview by a hiring manager then interview with center director, got hired the same day. Took about two weeks.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at KinderCare Learning Centers (Bristow, VA)
Interview
long, multiple times coming in. Often working during those times alone, learning certain things and asking questions. Sometimes staying a whole day working with another teacher. Often floated around difrerent rooms to get a gauge of what the center was like
