Upon submitting my application, I received a mail detailing an 8-step recruitment process that appeared highly professional. And costly for my time too. The initial stage involved an online assessment, consisting of a test on English language abilities, a logical reasoning test and a section on salary expectation. I was disappointed to receive a rejection based on my test score shortly thereafter, but It seemed fair. However, two months later, to my surprise, I received an invitation for the next recruitment step. This seemed confusing, as it was unclear whether the initial rejection was made in error, whether they ran out of candidates as they had progressed through the 8-step process, or whether they hired and fired. To cast doubts aside, I wrote back for clarifications. Despite my inquiry, I did not receive a response within the next two weeks. Their initial mail stated "If you have any questions I am always at your disposition.", but this did not seem to be the case. To conclude, while it might be an opportunity for those between jobs, I must advise caution as the HR process appears to be highly unreliable and unresponsive. Also, because the failed test included the salary expectation, I suspect they might have ranked the candidates based on that.
