The position was for team leader. I had one interview with both the recruiting manager and the group manager. Everything went great, both were satisfied from my answers. In the end they asked me if I had any questions for them. Before I go for an interview I have contacted some former employees in Klarna and they told me awful stories about how bad they were behaved in general and how competitive the environment is so I was not willing to jeopardize my current position for a company like that, without assuring that rumors are not valid. So I told them that I went through the glassdoor and I saw really bad reviews about the company ! I told them that people blamed that Klarna is sexist and competitive. Suddenly both of them stayed speechless, of course they were not prepared for this kind of question. The point is that they rejected me for a really stupid reason like - "we will continue with someone who has more experience with leading operational people in the same age as this group". What a silly question really. It is obvious to me at least that these people just confirmed my concerns, that Klarna is not a healthy environment to work and grow. Also, my friends told me that an internal email was sent everywhere, encouraging people to give a positive review for Klarna on Glassdoor. Avoid this company for your shake people !!!!

Appalling from the start and I should've seen the red flags early on. 1. Psyhcometric Test, ableist in nature and hardly indicative of if someone's actually a pleasant person or just a working robot 2. *Another* pyshcometric test, this time with someone watching. Why so many? Can't you instead put the emphasis on me as a person rather than these irrelevant tasks which remind me of a certain game on the Nintendo DS called "Brain Training"? 3. Not once but TWICE did Klarna fail to get back to me when they said they would. First was for benefits to compensate for the lower than expected salary and the other was an actual decision. I was told in a rather hastily put together email I received after asking for an update beyond the mentioned deadline *twice* Also, for a job based in Stockholm, why give me 2 people based out of *Ohio* in the United States to do the recruitment? It really isn't a good look... Rather ironic a service expecting you do pay on time cannot keep to its own deadlines itself when recruiting...
