I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kohl's (Wylie, TX) in May 2015
Interview
It was a group interview with about 7 people. Asked us basic questions to get an idea of your experience and personality. At the very end, they asked us to try and sell them a product of our choice to her. It was a pretty chill interview.

Question 1
What experiences do you have that would help you out with this position?
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
The interview process was pretty straightforward, virtual interview a week after applying. Didn't have many issues or anything confusing. I did ended up working there. Managers were ok but pay was pretty low.
Phone screening interview to go over resume and job requirements, mainly confirming what my availability would look like, what it entailed, and if I'd be comfortable with the sales part of the job/promoting the store rewards and credit card. Very friendly and low-pressure conversation over the phone.
