I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was a group interview and it was really awkward. It felt like a competition where I wasn't able to really show off my knowledge or skills. So I don't think it's a very effective technique.
Pretty straight forward, the interview was like any other for any clothing company. Pretty quick, from call to being on the job took 1-2 weeks minimum. Though pay wasn’t that great, it was still a good learning experience.

Question 1
If a customer asked for a location of a product what will you do
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
Very easy! They asked about my experience and ask me a few behavioral questions and then discuss about the role. The manager was really nice and really enjoyed it as a first job!
