The worst and most unprofessional experience in my life. Applied in may. Phone screen in July. Manager interview in august. Panel interview in late august and VERBAL job offer following. Over the next 6 months I was left in the dark with no actual offer letter and being thrown around to other managers for interviews. They blamed this on a reorg and hiring freeze but were never honest with me along the way. In the end there wasn't even a position open for me so I was "rejected". Lesson learned: get the offer in writing.
