I was contacted promptly about a phone interview. Waited around for approximately 45 minutes after it was scheduled, when I had to briefly take another call. Of course, that's when the recruiter contacted me, leaving a voicemail about running "a few minutes late" and indicating that if I responded within the next 10-15 minutes there would still be time for the interview. I responded within 5 minutes, but got the recruiter's voicemail and asked her to contact me once more. Waited around for another 20 minutes with no response. Since the interview clearly wasn't happening, I used the automatic scheduler to reschedule for the next available time, and sent a brief email to that effect. I received no response, and the day before the interview I got a terse cancellation notice, noting that an onsite interview was happening at that time, but no information about either rescheduling or being passed over. As such I rescheduled again for a later time that same day, and only two hours before that interview was to take place got a cancellation notice and explanation that they had moved the hiring process forward without me. I've seldom been treated so discourteously.
