I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kumon (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2024
Interview
Asked experience with kids, what you would bring and why youd like to work there. It was more than a casual conversation, but also not insanely formal. No math/reading test for me
The entire process was actually quite straightforward and easy for me, primarily because I was already volunteering at the organization, which gave me a level of familiarity with the staff and operations. Since they had already seen my work ethic and commitment firsthand, there wasn’t much of a formal interview process. They mainly asked me a few questions about my academic background, the credentials I held at the time, and any relevant experience I might have had that would contribute to the role. Overall, it felt more like a conversation than a formal evaluation.
