Interview
I applied on L'Oréal Career website for an offer in Geneva (I uploaded my CV and wrote a cover letter)
Then the day after my application I got a phone interview with the HR. Basic questions about my curriculum, about the cosmetics market (also the Swiss market for cosmetics).
After the call I got an invitation to the Assessment centre at the local headquarters in Geneva. In total there where 2 sessions with 8 candidates each times (so 16 in total but I think it was for 2 different internship positions). Most of them where French Business school student applying for a gap year or a final year internship.
The assessment center was in French in 3 parts:
1. Working on a problem in a team of 3 members (it was about how to organise effectively a plant knowing that anyway there was not enough space..)
2. Négociations. The 3 of us had different projects in different countries/areas... we had to define a budget for each knowing that budget was limited.
3. Face to Face interview with a member of L'Oréal Team. Unfortunately I spoke with the HR again so nothing really new from the phone interview...
It took half a day.

How many lipsticks are sold in Switzerland in a year?
J'ai candidaté sur une plateforme d'offre d'emploi, j'ai répondu à un questionnaire en ligne. Deux semaines après, j'ai reçu un call du recruteur, le call a duré 15 minutes et on m'a présenté les différentes possibilités en supply chain. On m'a ensuite proposé une mission et j'ai eu un entretien avec le manager.

smooth process. received a reply after 1 - 1.5 months from the application date. The interviewers were friendly and attentive during the interview process. Some interview questions are challenging but manageable.

Foi um processo lento e cheio de etapas e entrevistas. fui até a última fase e não passei. O processo é bem desgastante. Porém somos muito bem atendidos e ouvidos. A empresa é inclusiva e isso para mim é um ponto muto forte.
