I applied online for a supply chain internship, did an online behavioral test, then followed a phone interview with a recruiter. The interview went well, i felt like I did great and impressive. The recruiter said she would give me a response in 2 weeks but, you guessed right, i didn't get a response for over 2 months even after sending over 4 follow up emails. I finally got a response on my fifth email with the flimsiest of response, "I didn't get to you because I couldn't find a role to place you". The response was really silly because I applied for a "supply chain internship ". It was more like telling me: I'll insult you intelligence, to hell with you. You are a big company, understood, that's a good thing but realize that it's human beings that are applying for positions. Treat prospective candidates with respect. If you can't respond personally, automate a respectful refusal email, and do so on time, don't bully prospective candidates because you are a big organization.
