There was a clear disconnect between TA and the hiring manager. This resulted in long lead times and at the end of the process, no final communication about my application. I went from being a final applicant in the process, to crickets. A simple sorry you didn't get the job -- even if it was clearly a template -- would be better. Will not bother applying in the future.
