I applied online to a Java oriented developer job. I got an email from the recruiting coordinator asking me to reply with answers I had entered in the digital application.
From there, they scheduled a single hour interview with 4-5 interviewers. Three of which showed up. Two of the interviewers were technical, one was the hiring manager,
The technical component of the interview was undergrad book questions.
- "What is an ORM"
- "When would you use an abstract class versus an interface"
- "How does the ORM related to a NoSQL database"
The hiring manager asked me what I was interested in. I said building new and interesting things. She said something to the effect of "we are an O&M shop. This job us just to maintain." Then she logged out.
