I applied online. I interviewed at LEAP Legal Software in Jul 2024
Interview
Hr was clueless. Rocked up at the interview a bit late, having no idea who I was or my experience and had to take about 5 mins to search for my CV. And then having to say oh this is an entry level role, and you're experienced so gave the whole copout reason of needing to talk to the hiring manager when you know its going to be a rejection. But the main point was, what was the point of the interview? Could have said all that within an email.
Pretty engaging interview. It includes a 'challenge' portion to ensure you're equipped for the role which is not difficult as long as you study and prepare ahead of time. It involved a 3 step process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They inquired about my sales expertise and how I handled processes (cold calling, prospecting ,etc)
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LEAP Legal Software (New York, NY)
Interview
Was contacted by recruiter, process start from finish was long. 4 interviews and as well as a personality assessment. They are looking for long term SDR’s. Not realistic to be an AE from what I picked up on. I would believe they only hire those with legal backgrounds to be AE’s; and sales members will stay doing their cold calling. Process was OK up until my final interview with someone who didn’t seem to like me- which was dissapointing only because I recieved great feedback from everyone else I met. Wish there was more transparency as the anticipation/long process just became wasted time and energy.
