I applied online. I interviewed at LGI Homes (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2019
Interview
Very thorough which lands you on a team you can trust and be proud to be a part of. Importantly, the process does not discriminate on any level, it sorts for talent regardless of where you may be coming from. The success of LGI is in part, I believe, due to their tried and true processes, their keen eye for talent and their open mind to identifying talent wherever it exists. This creates a diverse dynamic team that is relateable to all customer. Take it seriously. You won't want to miss out on this opportunity because you mistook LGI for just another company who is looking for just another sale person.
First contact other than email was a Zoom meeting. If you're not used to seeing yourself on a screen it's very uncomfortable and in my case didn't represent my personality at all.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LGI Homes (Denver, CO) in Oct 2025
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter out of the blue so I went to a hiring event. Sat through some company info. Filled out a personality test. Had a quick 5 minute chat with an employee. They said they would like to bring me back for an interview but then I got the we went with other candidates e-mail.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at LGI Homes (California) in Aug 2025
Interview
Received a email 4 days after application submitted for a Teams interview. Meet with the recruiter for 10 mins. Asked about myself and work history. Then gave me info on the company and job. Asked if I had any questions. Then said they would let me know by next week.
