I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
A typical process starts with an online assessment, video interview, and assessment center. I will talk about the assessment center: three assessed activities—the group exercise, competency interview, and coding round.
They only added one language, JavaScript, as a mandatory language; other languages should be included, although I managed to code in Python with the interviewer's permission. We should have multiple coding language options, just like LeetCode. The two coding questions were of easy to medium difficulty. I managed to solve both.
The disappointing thing is their HR; they wouldn't give you feedback, just like ghosting. After multiple follow-ups and outreach attempts, after three months I received very generic, non-detailed feedback.
HR told me they would keep me waiting if another candidate did not accept their offer. Their HR system is very vague and unprofessional.

Interview
Seems like the company outsourced to an outside company. The interviewer asked 4 standard behavioural questions and situational questions, which I had the option to choose. It was 30 minutes in total.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) in Jan 2023
Interview
1st round was telephone screen with HR - asked about 5 standard competency questions. 2nd (Final) round was an assessment centre - 1 competency interview, 1 group exercise and 1 technical case study. They don't really give you the right resources to prepare or even let you know what to expect, which is not very helpful especially if you don't do a computer science degree. The case study was easy stuff but quite specific knowledge/facts that they want you to recall. Recruiter said they will let us know of an outcome within 2-weeks. Instead I get ghosted after a month, keep asking for feedback/follow-up and get no response. Honestly, don't bother trying to work here, HR are just incompetent and their interview process is very generic/not good indicator of the role at all.
