This company has some shockingly awful set of people, which includes the lying hiring managers and the bored HR person. I applied for a role of a Senior Customer Insight Analyst and received a call from HR to discuss the role. Then, I didn't hear anything for a long time.
A few weeks later the HR called again, apologized, and told me I was now being considered for 2 senior roles., which are Senior Customer Insight Analyst / Senior Operation Analyst. This was on a Wednesday, and was asked to come to Bournemouth on Friday of the same week. I squeezed out time by starting work earlier than usual and driving down to Bournemouth after work. The interview went well, I believe.
Following Monday, I got a call from HR with a very good feedback for the second role (Senior Operation Analyst) and a need for another call by another manager on that very day. I asked for a feedback on the main role I applied for (Senior Customer Insight Analyst), HR said, she (hiring manager) hasn't decided yet.
Rushed home to pick up the call for the unplanned phone interview, and after the interview hiring manager said interviews are now complete and should hear from HR that week. To my surprise, I never heard back from anyone again since July.
Anyone with half sense should know that after almost 4 rushed interviews, which includes one face to face, the least the interviewee expects is an email to confirm if he got the job or not.
I believe I was never considered for the first job (Senior Customer Insight Analyst) in the first place, and I was more of an experiment for the second job (Senior Operational analyst). Why waste people's time???? Do you need to interview people for legal reasons, for a job that you have already given to an internal candidate or external friend?? Do you have a conscience or you just get paid for being silly???
