I had two interviews, one with HR a and one with the hiring manager. HR was very kind and transparent in their approach. I was eager to move forward in the process and excited to speak with the hiring manager. When I connected with him, I was shocked by his hostile communication. He aggressively told me that I was very new, just getting started in my career, when I have over eight years of experience in CPG with a master’s degree. He shared with me that he did not start in sales and has had an extensive background. I shared my diverse background and career progression with him. He interrupted me halfway through and prevented me from sharing with him my most recent four years of experience that relate very closely to the role. He spoke poorly of HR and said in a brash tone that they needed to stop sending candidates with my type of background. He did not try to learn more about how my experience relates to the role and begrudgingly spoke to me for a painful half hour. I have interviewed at dozens of companies and this was the most unprofessional, arrogant interviewer I have ever encountered. I am glad I found out early on as I can see how difficult or an environment it would be to work at this company. Be warned!
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at La Tourangelle (Tours, Centre) in May 2017
Interview
J'ai eu un premier appel téléphonique, suivi d'un entretien physique dans les locaux à Tours.
L'entretien était assez rapide, avec une présentation de l'entreprise puis une partie questions sur le parcours et les expériences.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at La Tourangelle (Woodland, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Where have you worked? What experience do you have? When can you start? They asked multiple questions regarding the trade mark and secrets of the oil blends. It was very casual nice people running the show at this time very nice.
