I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LaserAway (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
Very informal. From my interview and from others I've spoken to it's mostly based on personality and appearance. Very disorganized. They tell you more about how great the company is and make you many promises. I was not questioned on my skill set. I was offered a job. The training was too quick and not thorough
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LaserAway (Chino Hills, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
2 Step Interview. Telephone interview with a recruiter then a zoom interview if they decide to move forward. Interview consists of personality and work experience questions, very straightforward. Entire process took about two weeks.
You’ll be contacted by someone in HR or the regional director for medical to do an interview.
I think the interview is pretty standard for a spa. “Why aesthetics?”, “how do you do with differing personalities!”, etc.
Phone screen was very honest about being for profit and seeing as many patients as possible per day. Recruiter called on time which is a positive compared to other recruiters lately. But when I heard they only pay half your normal wage during training I ended the interview.
