I interviewed at Lazy Dog for a bartender position on. July 26, 2025 and felt the interview went really well. The conversation had a good flow and it felt mutual, with both of us asking and answering questions comfortably. I left feeling optimistic and had high hopes based on the positive interaction. I was told they’d follow up on July 29 2025, but when I called the next day to check in, I was informed they had already gone with another candidate. It was disappointing, especially after what felt like a strong interview. I expected better communication and followthrough.

I got a call within a week of applying. The interview was pretty laid back, I felt like I was having a normal conversation with a friend! The manager was very nice and did not make me feel nervous.
