I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Leap29 in Jan 2023
Interview
I wasn't given much information about the company itself or even a bit of an overview before the interview which would have been useful so I had to research everything myself. I find that it is better to hear from the company about what they do, how things run and their motivations (as it adds a personal touch to the interview process) rather than blindly researching and just reiterating in the interview what I found on their website. The interviewers said they'd get back in touch with me to say their decision but they never reached out to say a simple "no". I'd much rather appreciate a simple email stating this than not hearing back. I didn't bother reaching out for feedback either as I felt like they just ignored me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would make you a successful recruitment consultant?
The format followed: Phone Role Play, Presentation and Interview. Although by attending i gained interview practice. I found the interview process to be very negative and off-putting. A lot of the conversation in the interview was based around money, being the company's sole motivation. For a graduate trainee position in particular, I think that the tone used was very unwelcoming.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Leap29 (Wilmslow, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
First interview was more informal to get to know more about the company and them more about you. Second interview was formal with a presentation and role play then more interview questions. Positive experience however I do think the advertisement for the role was misleading about how much experience they are actually after in sales to get the position.
