I applied online. I interviewed at LedgerGurus (American Fork, UT) in Jul 2024
Interview
Interviews are more similar to that of a tech company than a traditional accounting firm. Everything is done remotely, with a recorded interview first, followed by interviews that test a candidate's accounting and technical skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There will be live tests according to a candidate's accounting and technical skills. This tests how much one actually understands about accounting instead of just banking on education or experience.
Very long process that involved submitting a resume, completing an application, submitting a video application, then 2-3 rounds of interviews, taking the Wonderlic Test, plus a background and credit check.

They asked about experience in Quickbooks and how to stay focused working remotely.
I applied online. I interviewed at LedgerGurus (American Fork, UT) in Nov 2021
Interview
I applied and had to fill out a lengthy survey. Then I had an interview with the HR specialist. Then they made me take a long 3 part Wonderlic test on my aptitude, culture fit and personality fit. I hate these tests but luckily I scored high being a 89% fit in all areas. Then I had an interview with Sales Manager. Then I had an interview with the CEO and then the CFO. FOUR in all. It was a ridiculous process that evidently I beat since after hired, they determined I wasn't a good fit after all only working in the role during training for 3 weeks.
