The one surprise question was from the account manager I'd be working for. They asked if I'd be comfortable switching from a full blown sales representative to a lead generating representative.

Interview
There was a one on one phone call with an in-house recruiter. This involved asking about past history, while also giving a pretty in-depth overview of the company. Follow up included a written portion with three technical questions to be submitted. These are forwarded along to the developer team.

Interview
Very informal and quick. Not enough information on job duties. No questions asked of my background or areas of expertise. It was an unprofessional and rushed process. I got the feeling the job wasn't taken seriously by management. There was little feedback on job performance as well. All in all, not a good experience and I would not refer a friend there.

Our interview process when looking for a temporary admin assistant through a staffing agency is much different and is very informal as you pointed out. When we are hiring for a full time employee in any of our roles, we have an extensive interview process that includes a phone interview, a manager interview, an interview using our StandOut platform process, and occasionally a peer interview. We want to make sure that the job is a right fit for both of us!
