      Account Executive Interview

      12 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ledgy

      Interview

The interview process was: 1. Initial recruiter call 2. Hiring manager call 3. Take home task 4. Skills fit interview 5. Culture interview 6. Offer It was quite a lengthy interview process. Ledgy were quite pushy in terms of getting interview dates in but since have been really slow with feedback, I think it's important to understand that people are spending a lot of time on these processes and you need to equally value that. Throughout every stage of the process, every interview I had booked in was asked to be moved up, leaving little time for prep. On one week I had an interview earlier in the week and then they asked for the other two remaining interviews to be on the same day later in the week and, without explicitly saying, expected you to accommodate. But then give a very vague email afterwards to say that you didn't get the job - I think it's quite important to be considerate of everyone's time not just yours as the employer and this was not an example of that at all.

      Account Executive Interview

      Berlin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ledgy (Berlin) in Nov 2021

      Interview

Interview Process: Step 1: Interview with Head of Sales (30 minutes) Step 2: Case Study (total time spent 3-4 hours) Step 3: If passed Step 2, Case Study Review (1 hour) Step 4: Interview with Head of TA/People on Mission (30 minutes) Step 5: Interview with CPO on Culture (30 minutes) Step 6: Team Interview (30 minutes) Step 7: Interview with CEO on Culture once again (30 minutes) Note that the last two steps were never mentioned when the team outlined the interview process at the beginning. To put it in a nutshell, I was ghosted for 3 weeks (and counting) after 7 rounds of interviews and +8 hours of dedicated time spent on the process, all whilst reaching the supposed last stage. Followed up 3 times during the wait and didn't receive a crumble of empathy from the company. and by empathy, I mean an answer written in words or given via a phone call. One thing I did receive though is an automated e-mail from their ATS asking for feedback on the interview process so far, I'd leave it up to you, the reader, to imagine the reaction.. Really a shame as one of their values, which is also the mission of the product/company, is to bring more transparency to the business world.
