Interview
Interview was conducted over the phone. He asked some general questions related to the position. This was a critical new position to fill and local candidates could not be found so they expanded to looking for people getting out of the military, which I was and was willing to relocate. Did not provide any relocation assistance.
Very smooth and mixture of technical and personal questions. Had 2 of them. Negotiation was difficult and they wouldn’t go up in salary. But the PTO and 401(k) was hard to pass up.
Typical phone screen asking behavioral STAR questions. General stuff like describing your previous experiences. Describe how you used data science and scripting tools to accomplish big data analytics in your previous jobs?

Very quick interview process. Professional interviewers stuck to topics at hand and respected my time frame. Took maybe 5-10 minutes at a maximum. Would recommend working for this company in the future.
